MATHEMATICS REVIEWER
FOR 3RD GRADE
NUMBERS AND OPERATION & ALGEBRA are common core content. Common core content means it touches K-12 students.
The State expected 3rd grade students to master multiplication. Also to have pre-algebra exposure by learning how to analyze a problem situation, determine the question(s) to be answered, and determine how to represent the problem. For example extracting quantitative information from word problem and be able to discover the pattern how to solve it. Sketches or drawing is another method of solving word problem.
