MATHEMATICS REVIEWER
FOR 3RD GRADE
NUMBER AND OPERATION is a common core content. Common core content means it touches K-12 students.
The State expected 3rd grade student to have early exposure to the concept of Hamilton Path and Circuit. A Hamilton Path and Circuit is simple path in a graph that passes through every vertex exactly once. Since this is a whole number counting problem so it was an appropriate challenging lesson to learn for a 3rd grade students.
This exposure gives students the idea that this mathematical concept is very important to learn. Hamilton Path and Circuit is important to learn because it is use for example on travel route optimization for UPS , Fedex, DHL, Amazon, and other transportation industries. It is also use in computer science to visualize graph database.
