History of INVBAT.COM

INVBAT.COM was created by Apolinario “Sam” Ortega, currently working at Salt River Project (SRP), a community-based, nonprofit utility and one of the nation’s largest public power utilities in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He works at Power Delivery and Engineering organization. In his free time at home, he is passionate in pursuing INVBAT.COM since 2009. INVBAT is an acronym for INVenting Brain Assistant Tools.

He observed that his brain memory recall of mathematical formulas and equation is no longer within five minutes, his personal time limit. So he asked himself these two questions, “What are the available tools that I can use to help me retrieve formulas and equations within a minute anytime and anywhere? Is it possible to combine calculator and formula so I can get an answer within a minute? “. His answer is to use the internet to solve the problem of anytime and anywhere. Next he learned the language of internet such as CSS, HTML/5, JavaScript and other software tools to solve his second problem, combining calculator and formula to get an answer within a minute. Then he subscribes to Yahoo web hosting service since April 27, 2009 to implement his solutions. Now INVBAT.COM is expanding to Amazon Web Service EC2, cloud technology in order to serve their growing number of public users worldwide.

Sam Ortega is now confident that he can remember 98 % of mathematical formulas, theories, equations, and frequently asked technical questions that he created in INVBAT.COM within a minute to help him do his work in engineering analysis, design review, and make recommendation. He believes science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) students, teachers, and employees worldwide will also need help to remember their own useful formulas , equations, theories, work procedures, and their own frequently asked questions. He sees a business opportunity for creating customize personal memory assistant for other colleagues in S.T.E.A.M .
