The Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) said it received 956 interconnection requests representing 171 GW of new generation, a record volume during its 2022 Generator Interconnection Queue (GIQ) application period. Solar projects (84 GW) continued to represent the single-highest category followed by hybrid projects (34 GW) and storage projects (32 GW).
